Chris Shepherd’s first animate! commission Dad’s Dead, 2003, featured Ian Hart as its narrator, and won 25 international awards including a BAFTA nomination. His second animate! commission Who I Am and What I Want, 2005, co-written and co-directed with artist David Shrigley. See Slinky Pictures.
David Shrigley is a Glasgow based artist, best known for his darkly humorous cartoons released in softcover books or postcard packs. Shrigley co-directed the animate! commissioned film Who I Am and What I Want, 2005, with Chris Shepherd based on Shrigley’s book of the same title and was narrated by Kevin Eldon. See David Shrigley.
