London short Film Festival wants your films
The London Short Film Festival returns for its sixth year next January. The festival will take place at various venues across London, including Institute for Contemporary Arts and Roxy Bar & Screen and will once again offer an eclectic selection of music, live events, club nights and new films.
Halloween, who runs the festival, has just announced that the call for entries is now open. This is an open call, there’s no criteria as such, but they’ll be looking for the most edgiest and imaginative short films. They’re interested in documentaries, music videos, horror films, animations and experimental films.
Award categories include the Vauxhall Auteur Theory Award for those enterprising individuals who have undertaken up to three of the following tasks on their film: Director, Producer, Script, Camera, Editing or Actor. Last year the award was won by documentary filmmaker Pinny Grylls for Peter and Ben, the story of one man and his sheep.
If you’ve got something to show at the next London Short Film Festival, download a submission form here, deadline 24 October 2008.
