Cinematheque – streaming media project environments has launched a call to find the best FLASH works on the net.
The software program FLASH, once developed and prepared for the commercial market by Macromedia, and now owned by Adobe, is a vector based developing environment which enables developers to combine different media and develop vector based animations especially for the Internet.
Since the 1990′s artists have used FLASH to produce work for the net. This includes computer based animations and other interactive applications like games. In this project, Cinematheque – streaming media environments wants to explore the artistic potential of Flash and provide a platform for artists working with this medium in a big online show.
This call for work is addressed to artists, and only artistic Flash works are eligible to be submitted. No commercial work will be accepted.
