Lungs [The Breather] is an interactive installation environment that explores the passive/active bodily process of breathing.
Designed to involve four participants at once, lungs [the breather] amplifies the breath of participants through sound and video projected onto white liquid, heightening the participants awareness of the involuntary activity of breath, crucial to human life. Update from the artist – Laura Colmenares Guerra
No plans to exhibit ‘lungs’ in the UK right now but Laura’s interested in making connections with UK venues/platforms that are interested in installing the piece.
Lungs [the breather] may be presented in Mons (Belgium) during July 09. In October 09 it will be presented in BXL Bravo Festival in Brussels.
